Project is going well right now. Now we can focus more, because we got our main technology working. Lots of meetings today. Some minor arguments, but i think it was because we were all tired.

Meeting

Sitting in a project meeting right now, im very hungry i didint eat any lunch today.

But i am very happy! With some help from David we got the flash thing to work as we want!

Will write more tonight when i get home.

Yeah, so today we tried to create our flash movie. It went rather well. We are close to create a pre-alpha prototype. Or it feels like it.

I asked around for solutions to our problem, hopefully we wont need it but its always good to have more options.

Beginning to get a better grip about the code we found. Its all Action Script.

It would be really nice to try the idéa by the end of next week. Just to figure out problems that we haven't thaugt about.

Flash flash flash... Its driving me crazy!

So, we are trying to use the web cam in flash. This is easy to do. But what if you want to play a movie clip when the user moves their hand into a defined area of the screen? Yeah i sure as hell don't know.

I have done some googling today, i have found something that we might be able to use. I will try to build the app tomorrow. We know its possible to do it, but there is not any good tutorials out there for what we want. What do we do if it all fails? Our idea is quite good i think.

Don't know what they looked at when they put together the groups. But the lack of programming skills in our group is very frustrating. Yeah sure, we can learn to program ourselves but its so frustrating when the tech limits your plans.

[Project Diary]Brain Storm

Today we got more info about the main task of Experience Technology. My group has video as our main theme. We got a web cam as our main hardware.

We have had a great brain storm about what to do, we got an idea but i wont post it right now ;)

Tomorrow we will start on the project plan, its deadline on Friday.

Code Mod

Today we did some code modding, we got to play with a clone of the game breakout. Really fun to do! My version did not turn out as i wanted but i did some psychedelic pattern instead.

Tomorrow we will know what groups we are divided into! Really looking forward to build stuff! Love it!

This week in review

Its time to review whats happened this week again!

We have finished our second module "Information Society". The presentation went well, I'm not a big fan of standing in front of a crowd, but i hope it will get better as the time goes on.
